RPM/Chef 10.14.2 Released
We've just pushed the latest Chef packages onto our cloud channel. Chef 10.14.2 is a feature-release of Chef. The major new funtionality is the why-run heads up/dry run node update feature. $ yum update chef*
In addition, we've added and/or updated many popular Knife plugins. We have also released the virtual machine testing suite test-kitchen which allows you to test individual recipes against different platforms. A detailed overview is at http://www.opscode.com/blog/2012/08/17/announcing-test-kitchen/ but getting started is as easy as:
$ kitchen --help
